West Point Family Dental

First Visit

A review of your treatment options and an assessment are typically part of your initial session. Most of the time, therapy can begin or be completed on the same day as your consultation. However, we might require a second session to administer treatment on a different day if your medical history or treatment plan is complicated.

  • Would you kindly bring the following information to your consultation to aid us?
  • any, if any, x-rays from a prior dentist are available.
  • a list of all the drugs you presently take.
  • To help us process any claims and save time, please bring the relevant completed forms if you have dental insurance.

Important: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Before beginning treatment, please let the office know if you have any medical conditions that could be problematic (diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever), or if you are currently taking any medication (anticoagulant therapy, aspirin, heart drugs, etc.).

Radiography

You can ask your dentist or doctor to send any x-rays they have taken to our office. In the event that time is limited, kindly retrieve them and bring them along. We can take any more x-rays at our facilities if they are required.
